Föreläsning: Att ta bilder som stör & berör med Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin
Pride På stan, Fri 2 Aug 4:30 PM–5:15 PM
At Scandinavian Photo we want to pay attention to the fact that we safeguard all people's rights to their sexual identity and to love who they want! During our Pride celebration, we welcome Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin to us, who is one of Sweden's most debated photographers. With her world-famous exhibition, Ecce Homo in 1998, she not only managed to upset the pope in Rome but got the whole of Sweden to debate on LGBTQ rights. Her exhibition was bomb threatened several times and Elisabeth received several death threats.
For almost 40 years, Elisabeth Ohlson Wallin has delivered exhibitions in subjects that touches many but also disturbs. During her lecture at Scandinavian Photo, Elisabeth will talk about her pictures and tell why she takes the pictures she does and what her great drive and passion is for photography.
