Flogging is a broad range of impact play performed with a multi-tailed whip called "flogger" The word "whip" can be associated with unpleasant situations, but flogging can vary from a fairly soft experience to hard play with all the nuances in between.

Florentine flogging is when someone performs a more advanced form of flogging in different patterns. Then two floggers are used, one in each hand.
