ARG GUBBE

Pride På stan, Wed 31 Jul 7:00 PM–8:00 PM

With comedy and self-knowledge, Michael describes his journey from an angry heterosexual man who lived his life being horny constantly, his 28-year marriage to wife and an adopted son, to now getting used to his inner gay. He is asking himself why he gets congratulated, when his sexuality mostly feels like a punishment.

Segerström has been a part of Sweden's theater life since the 70s when he was included in the Tent project "We are thousands", which toured in Sweden in the summer of 1977. In the early 1980s he wrote and played the leading role in SVT's children's program On course with Kurt , replayed several times.

Segerström has been involved with the Boulevard Theater, which he was involved in starting and running (1984-2006), the Stockholm City Theater, the Gothenburg City Theater and the Helsingborg City Theater. In 2008 he received a Guldbagge for the best male role for his role as the honored, job-seeking Bernhard in the movie Darling.

In 2013, Segerström made his debut as a fiction writer with the short story collection Stories from Köpingen which was followed in 2015 by Trelleholla - more evil than evil , a mixture of tension novel and a satire over "the Swedish noir wonder".
