Lava is a library and creative hub for young people (ages 14-25) right in the heart of Stockholm.
Established in 1996, Lava serves the city’s thriving youth as a dynamic meeting place, an open, inspiring environment for reading and crafting as well as a space for informal learning and skill development.
At Lava you can borrow books, musical instruments and tools to bring home (a Stockholm Public Library card is required), engage in different activities and create with textiles, paints or beading. There are also computers for graphic editing, music production. 3D printer, a vinyl cutter, badge makers, and a large format printer at your disposal.
Lava aims to enhance youth culture from all over the city and beyond while empowering young artists and practitioners in their right to expression.
